Display Problems

The Hillcott Web site is designed to be viewed in a screen resolution of 800x600 or higher.

Most people will not have a problem with this but in nearly 10,000 visitors we have had a few who have reported overlapping text and images.

This is mainly caused by one of 2 main windows settings.

Firstly MS Internet explorer has a screen option to change text sizes.
This should be set to medium

If this does not solve the problem it could be because your Windows system is set to large fonts.
You can test for this by setting the text size above to smaller.

If this stops the overlapping problem you can either leave the browser set this way, or change your windows font size to small. 

Note: This will make all your windows fonts appear smaller

This is achieved by selecting display in Windows control panel, clicking the settings tab at the top and pressing the advanced button. This display will appear:

Select small fonts and press OK.
